Front Windshield Replacement - Need Recommendation

Looking for front windshield replacement recommendations for my E90 in the VA/DC area. Was on route 50 this morning near Annapolis going East when my front windshield hit a rock or something. Made like 4 really nasty circular cracks on my front windshield. So pissed off.

So if anyone could recommend a good place with quality and decent prices I would very much appreciate it.

I have used Safelite Autoglass, they are quick and reasonable. They offer mobile service as well.

Thanks for your responses.

Did you go through you insurance or did you just pay out of pocket?

If it's a crack that's smaller than a quarter they can fix it with their epoxy or something and it's free through insurance...if they have to replace the entire windshield I believe it's $50 through insurance. Mine went smoothly...just had to wait like an hour and a half...

For something like that, I went through my insurance company. I have zero deductible for comprehensive insurance, which means my windshield was free.

I believe I have a separate deductible for windshields, so I went through insurance

Glass replacements fall under the comprehensive portion of your insurance. Accordingly, whatever comp deductible you have is going to be your cost.

I have a bit of advice for those of you with high comp deductibles. Do yourselves a favor and get a quote on a low (ie $50/100) deductible. You might be pleasantly surprised that the difference between a low (say $100) and a high ($1000+) is minimal on the comp side. A high deductible only pays on the collision side of the house.

How much is a new windshield?

Mine got cracked on Sunday and the crack is getting bigger.

Need to check my paperwork to see if it's better to go thru my insurance.
