eNET or ICOM Cable needed for test

I got all of the software setup on my laptop and have the full DATEN package and want to test things out. All of the basic software is connecting, but when doing the FSC code (FSC Generator for map updates), I'm stuck as I only have the K+DCAN cable. I'm reading mixed reviews about reading the FSC code on my 2010 model with the ENET cable, not just the ICOM cable, but wondering if anyone is local to Northern NJ who would be willing to lend me the ENET cable to test it out.

Willing to update you to the Premium 2015-1 North America maps in exchange. I have it on USB (you supply USB), but willing to burn it to DVD if you need it that way. I'm going to buy the ENET cable if it works. Debating if it's worth buying an ICOM cable unless someone knows of a CHEAP source for that? Thanks.

It will NOT work for E series...You need an ICOM interface period..

If that's the case, anyone have an ICOM cable available in exchange for the 2015-1 Premium NA maps?

I heard you could uses e-sys to get the FSC code another way, but that was also on the F-Chassis. Post 09 production E-chassis supposedly uses the same interface as the F-chassis, but there's not much in the forums about that. Can anyone confirm that? I'm going to start using NCSExpert/Ediabas to code my 2010 E93, but really wanted to do the maps first.

ENET cable for EXX chassis is simply for vehicles with CIC Nav and MOST.

It can use direct access for these modules. However there is no gateway allowing for anything else.

I think only ICOM can help you for what you want to do.

You can get a cheap ICOM A2 B and C clone for about $250 USD. Just resell it on eBay after. You might even make a profit.

Sensible, thanks for the clarification. I saw it worked on Nav, but wasn't sure if that was what I needed to get the code I needed to retrieve. Know of a reliable source to get the cloned cable for cheap? Best I can find is ~$400.

Offer still stands for anyone with the ICOM cable locally that wants the latest (2015-1) Premium Maps.
