buddy of mine w/ a GTO just sent me a few photos I found interesting. They actually look good on goats! if you squint real hard, the GTO's look a bit like an e92.

Wheels look nice, but they don't compliment the GTO nearly as well as the BMWs.

I'm not feeling it... sorry. Its kind of like putting AMG wheels on a 335, its just strange. Also, with all the torque that the GTO makes, GM messed up big time since you can barely squeeze a 265 or 275 on that car. The fender clearance blows.

hahahhahahaha, told ya the hating would start as soon as you posted those Matt.
I know I know....they're BMW wheels on a GTO.....and that would be like me putting Cobra rims on my Z28 back in the day (which is why I don't have the CSL rims on my GTO) BUT......come on, admit when a rim compliments a car, regardless of brand. I think you guys are so appalled at the fact there is a BMW rim on a GTO that you're not able to look at the picture with from an aesthetic point of view. I probably would never put those rims on my GTO for obvious reasons, but I do however think they look great on the car. This is coming from someone that has seen 200+ aftermarket GTO rims and haven't really seen ONE that I cared for. |
