I don't know why folks who are happy with their purchase and the price they paid for it ask this question. Seems like a perfect prelude to a let down in my eyes.

That said, the price you paid is reasonable for the car you got. I wouldn't call it a steal, but I've also seen folks pay more. Right now, wholesale for a car like yours is anywhere from $15K to $19K, depending on mileage, structural, mechanical and physical condition, equipment (that matters, not just convenience gizmos), accident history, and demand. Given that your car has very low mileage, and on that basis alone, it seems like you may well have gotten a fair deal.

Enjoy your car. It's a very nice car.

Theres alot that goes in to the pricing o a 335i ie, options, service history, lein history all of which you havent posted. Honestly its not a steal, esp for an 07. Most people dodge 07's due to the fuel pump issues and first year of production.

Not sure what warranty you purchased but please be smart and put some money aside for repairs before you jump into modding( i saw you mentioned intercooler and bov). Modding and repair a BMW is completely different and alot more expensive than modding a Honda/Nissan.

However, welcome man and I wish you that best. This forum is a huge help when it comes to anything you could possibly want to know about your e90.

lol sorry man didnt try to just dont want you to jump in blind. As for modding you may want to look into tunes before an intercooler or bov. I would suggest a JB+ or JB3or4. JB+ will give you some nice gains while the JB3or4 is a more advanced tune that will assist in gains down the road with your intercooler/exhaust/intake/etc.

Start by browsing the stickies in the "N54 Turbo Engine / Drivetrain / Exhaust Modifications - 335i section.

I bought a Cobb and sold it when my car was misfiring, my car needs to be maintained up to par before I move forward with a tune, I figured why not do this all at once and just have the tune for $400 hold off a week or two... I like the Tablet idea anyway. (july 15th shipping)I'm gonna grab that new OpenFlash Tablet next week when it releases. I ordered the following:

6 OEM Bosch Plugs
2 OEM Bosch Coils
1 BMS Bosch Plug Tool
2 Rear Centric Rotors
1 BMS DCI
1 VRSF 7" FMIC
----------------
$800

I think I'm just gonna go ahead and get the BOV kit for $545... makes sense honestly just to do everything at once.

MNC Performance quoted me $250-300 to install the FMIC, DCI and BOV. They do quality work apparently.

They quoted me $125 to swap rear rotors and $175 to swap coils and plugs (I thought this was high so I may just do it at a regular shop)

Nice upgrade! Welcome and happy modding. Those are incredibly low miles for an 07!! Time for coilovers though since I see you don't have sport package.

I'm thinking v1 or v2... $400 difference $1450 or $1850.

If you have the money go for v2 you can adjust the damping with v2's unlike v1's
