I'm ordering my 2013 335is and my dealer told me I cant have the frozen color. He said that car doesn't have that option. I think this is bullshit!!!! Please someone tell me it is !!! Does anyone have a frozen 335is!! If so tell me how you did it.

I believe it's an M-Car ONLY option. An alternative is you can get your car wrapped in Vinyl for about 2,000-3,000 dollars, which will also protect your OEM paint.

335is has never been offered in a "frozen" color. Look on the BMW USA website under "build your own". There are only a few colors it's available in, and all except Crimson Red are glossy metallics.

Maybe BMW Individual can do it, but why not just save yourself hassle, pick your favorite standard color or white and just have your car wrapped in a matte finish. It will look just as good, be much cheaper, be much more easy to maintain, and you can easily change colors later on if you get bored with the look. Also, if you get into a minor fender bender, you can easily match/repair the matte finish by applying a new overlay to the damaged area.

Take some time to read up on the care of matte paint. It stains from birdshit, grease, oil, and road grime. You can polish or buff out imperfections or you get a permanent shiny spot. It is very difficult to maintain.
I disagree, a wrapped car can look ad good. Check out my thread with pics of my wrapped car. People think its paint.

Leasing my car... Don't want to vinyl it. Too much of a hassle. I know there has to be a way to get frozen on the 335is.

Leasing might be even harder. BMW makes you sign a waiver for the frozen, due to how easily it can be damaged. Might end up with cost to repair at the end of the lease.

Waist of time and money. Get a case of white plasti dip, a few cases of beer, and invite all your friends over... Once the plasti dip is finished, put down some color and make your own masterpiece... haha

Thanks. For sure, a quality wrap can look great. I do think the maintenance concerns with matte clearcoats are somewhat exaggerated, you just have to keep it clean and be mindful of bird droppings, tree sap, etc. The extra washes are easily balanced out by the concurrent subtraction of wax, polish, etc.
