Shots from my Colorado trip

Mostly landscape stuff since it's so much different than what I can see at home, the quality got killed a bit because of the resizing...C+C welcome

Great Colorado shots.

Colors are already highly saturated here due to the thin air and high altitude, so you need to be very judicious with the Saturation slider. Try a slight S-curve with the RGB curve to increase contrast and saturation at the same time for a more natural look.

Still, nice shots.

thanks, I didn't mess with these too much, mostly just auto levels. I haven't been using the camera as much as I should but I want to get back into it.

I looked at these again on Flickr and they're not nearly so saturated there. I wonder what's going on.

dunno...I never realized how much the computer can change the look as well. I edited these on my MBP which probably isn't the best idea, but it's the only computer I have right now. I looked at them at work on a desktop, and most of them look really saturated and some look underexposed :

Rather than upload a separate file here, I usually link to my Flickr version of the shot and they look the same here and there.

Try doing that with the deer eating berries that's so saturated so we can see if it looks better. You'd think that it would look the same either way, but something's going on

It does look a bit saturated here on my screen too but love CO. I had the opportunity to drive cross country on I-80 and saw how beautiful it was out there.

sweet pics!

I can't wait to hit Colorado for a summer trip. I'm always there in winter for boarding.... in the winter, most pics look very similar. not to mention that it's usually damn cold to be walking around taking pics. haha

It feels like a whole different world there when you get up into the mountains. I think everyone should see the rocky mountain national park at some point, probably one the most beautiful places our country has to offer.
