My spokesman has answered! Thanks!

Once the Otello gets closer to Canada we should be able to pick it up again on marinetraffic.com. Due in Halifax on the 22nd.

I wonder:

1) What % of new orders spec ZMP?
2) How many additional E9xs were sold because of the availability of ZMP, e.g., how many folks chose BMW instead of Audi et al because they like ZMP?

My car is now listed as "En Route" on BMW's website! YAY! Wonder how much longer until it gets here I'm still going to try and stick with not picking it up until May 29th though. One more question, are the plate holes drilled at the port or at the dealership? I told my dealer no front plate but just want to remind him.

m sport convertible

Congrats on your vehicle. I was in the BMW dealership this weekend trying to get the best price on a Le Mans Blue fully loaded convertible. Seems I have to order it and wait 6-8 weeks. While we never reached a final price, I think the best he was going to do was to split the difference between Invoice and MSRP, about 2100 above invoice. I know other dealers were selling whats they had on the lot at invoice or close to it. But these certainly are not M sport or exactly what I want.
What was your experience in pricing your soon to arrive car?
In this market shouldn't BMW dealers be hungry enough to be making deals at just about invoice even on an ordered car?

Any thoughts?

Go somewhere else and tell them how much you're willing to pay. I got 500 over invoice. I've seen some people get invoice.

I got $500 over invoice as well. For an ordered car and not one sitting around on the lot, I thought it was a good deal.

Can someone tell me what invoice is? Is that what every dealer pays for the car? They've got to be making more profit than that.

Invoice cost of car + options (see pdf that is posted in the ordering section) + MACO Fee + Dest & Handling Fee + Training Fee

My dealer does not charge a training fee.
They charge 320 (or 350, cant remember now) MACO fee and the standard Dest & Handling listed on bmwusa.com.

The wait is over. I just picked up my E92 335i ZMP today at the Performance Center in South Carolina. The car is absolutely awesome, even better looking in person than in the pictures I've seen. A few quick observations before the photos:

Lemans Blue is terrific. Deep and rich looking without any of the purple tones of Montego.

My car has the ashtray with cover. Week 10 build.

The car came with Michelin Pilot Sport runflats. Is that what everyone is getting on the ZMPs?

I'll post more pictures in the future. I'm going to rest before hitting the Tail of the Dragon first thing tomorrow morning.

My 335i M-Sport coupe is also week 10. It came with Michelin Pilot Sport runflats, covered ashtray, wheel bolt locks and an Ipod cable. I got the space gray w/ glacier aluminum and black leather. I had the dealer add aluminum pedals. Does anyone know were the warning triangle is supposed to go?
