Gentlemen, just wanted to sincerely apologize for not making it last Saturday. Low and behold right after I made my last post the Friday before the meet I got in my car to head home from work and started having problems with my ABS. Every time I'd hit the brakes it felt like the ABS was intermitently engaging and making the car jerk to a stop. Sure enough Saturday morning it was even worse.
The aggravating thing is that my brakes were FINE until I took the car into our local BMW dealership for my normal 45K service earlier in the week. I took the car back in on Tuesday and they supposedly fixed the issue, but they still don't feel right. Since I've gotten it back I've been as hard as I can on the brakes so hopefully if anything is going to break it will do it before the warranty runs out.

I actually found an 08 coupe over at World Imports (for those of you who don't know it's over on Beach Blvd) that I'm very close to trading up for. But we'll have to see what kind of deal they'll give me.

Regardless, I'll be at the next meet. Sounds like you guys had a great time. I can't make it on the 2nd as I'll be out of town, but the 9th works great for me.
Looking forward to growing the group!

Not a problem Single! Hopefully you'll get the brakes worked out. Personally, if you're going to trade up I'd go to an LCI. But then, I'm just a bit biased...
The 2nd may work out for me and the 9th is up in the air. Depends if I decide to go to Pembroke on the 10th. Anybody willing to make the drive to Pembroke with me?

Are you planning on coming back the same day?
I don't need to mention that even though 10-10-10 in itself is cool, the fact that it's a Sunday stinks. I'm only saying that because I have a pretty demanding job and I'm already taking quite a bit of time off in October.
Ideally it would be cool to stay down down south overnight, but if others are planning on driving back that day, it would definitely make the drive down and back more enjoyable.

LCI stands for Life Cycle Impulse. Basically just body style changes such as the ridges in the hood, wider rear track, different tail lights. Most importantly for me, upgrade in the navi! Huge difference from the old navi. Just look at an 09-11 before jumping on the 08. I'll meet you somewhere after work if you want to compare yours to mine.

I could go either way with 10-10. Spend Sat night or drive down and back Sun. I'm in the same boat with work lately! I have to work at least one day every weekend.
