e92 3series interior design N. America Vs. Europe
I don't know if this topic is been presented before, but I noticed that the interior design of the e92 coupe is a bit different in North America than in Europe. for example, here-in Canada, the coin (change) pocket in front of the stick does not have a lid while in Europe it does...same thing can be said about the consol at the rear.
Any other interior features differences between the two models? |

The lid over the ashtray is part of the smoker's package - an option in most European countries but no longer available in the US/CDN. There are also some regulatory issues that affect the availability of options in the different countries. For example, the coin cubby available (to the left of the steering wheel) doesn't pass US (and probably CDN) crash regulations (US regs a deformable brace for that area for knee injury and anti-submarining.) |
