Talking South Fl - Recommend me a Car Wash

Since I moved to brickell and Have no garage I need a place to weekly take my car to get a bath.

recommend me spots other than the two on us1.

The car can't be on a belt, because of my top. ( has to be hand wash only )

also if they do clay or w.e. wax.

?

gracias

Shell gas station on Key Biscayne. They are the best, and take care of tons of top-end cars. $30 for a hand wash and interior clean. Perfect for regular washes.

Yeah, but it's VERY well done. I wash myself normally, and bring the car to them once a month for the full wash/clean.

So I tried Miami Auto Spa, I had 5 cars infront and I was out by 35 minutes. I timed them, just got a regular wash. Asked about how much would it be to clay the car, was quoted $189. They have monthly and yearly specials. Oh btw I paid 18 bucks for the wash, and tipped the guy 5 bucks.

in their lobby they have 2 small tv's, I watch ESPN first take with skip bayless and steven a smith. ( awesome show ) praising lebron. haha

jimmy you were right, its 2 blocks away from me. I got a new spot!

given the fact your paint is susceptible to all kinds of damage after that without a sealant or wax on it.

I prefer to wash my car myself. So I go to the car wash stalls next to the 7-11 on the corner of SW67th Ave (Ludlam) and SW56th St (Miller).

I just don't have 100% confidence that the kids working at the car wash places don't accidentally drop damp towels on the ground, pick up small debris, then scratch the car up.

Same reason I sometimes use gas station car washes (no touch), and never the car washes with the spinning potential scratching rubber/cloths.

For finishing, I use Zaino products. They are easy to use and last a long time.

Yes it's near UM. It's a standard stall do-it-yourself place. Drop 7 quarters (minimum) in the machine and use the spray gun and soapy brush (which I pre-wash with the spray gun to remove any debris). I usually use about 12 quarters. Then you dry it yourself using a natural chamois, or hitting it first with their $1 blow dry gun which knocks off most of the water and cuts your chamois time by about 80%.

And then, you hit it with your Zaino products that you ordered previously:

http://www.zainostore.com

They have various products depending on what you want.

But like I said, I like to do this myself. Some of my friends aren't interested and always take it to a full service place.

Miami does NOT have very many do-it-yourself places. I used to go to one in Palmetto Bay on US1, because I just didn't know of one closer until I found this one. I live in coral gables.

I'm going to have to check out that place as well. I live in the Gables and have started washing the car with two buckets in my garage. Giant pain in the ass.
