Setting the clock, hour change, E90

Does anyone know how to set the clock i.e. change the time on an E90. When I change it using the steering wheel stalk it goes back to the same time as shown on the radio clock. Same happens when I change on the radio clock. Do you have to be stopped or something?

After setting the time, you must press the end stalk button in for a second and it will hold the setting.

On the radio, it's pressing the right hand side knob.
