Irvine-Looking for help on jb4 UNinstall

Not comfortable working on it myself, looking for someone in the area that is comfortable with the n55 2012 jb4. I was told by my mechanic back at home that the 2012's ecu box is a little bit different than the one in the install manual from burger tuning.

Money for your time is negotiable.


Since I didn't install it myself, i'm not sure if it is a unplug everything kind of job. If it is that easy let me know

Super easy! Unplug the 4 sensors and inside the DME box you'll find two wires you have to untwist and then unbolt the ground wire. If you look at the BMS installation PDF you'll see where everything is.

Just make sure you remove the negative terminal off the battery located on the right in the trunk.

Yes. Just plug the OEM cables that were connected to the JB4 into the OEM sensors. It takes me about 15min to remove it if the sensor clips aren't being stubborn. It may seem a little tedious however after accomplishing it the first time you'll know what to do and what to look for
