N52 cooling fan not working
Back in July my battery died. In the process of jumping or charging it prior to replacing the battery, my LCM/FRM3 bricked.
Installed and registered a new battery. Sent LCM to Alex@AlpineMSS and he flashed it for me. Loaded up INPA coded LCM, good as new. At some point my cooling fan also stopped working. The car is throwing a 2EFE error code for the DME module. Diagnosing effort so far...
I'm going to plug my multimeter leads into the cooling fan connector, and see if I get a 12v reading by trying INPA activation again. Remaining guesses are: DME cannot send signal to fan, a wire has shorted out, or there's a mystery fuse that I do not know about. |

Check all of your ground points. I was having nearly the same issues, and discovered my fan ground wasn't properly bolted to the chassis.
Try that first before anything else.
