Rain rain go away. First time I got to test out the car in bad weather with the new mods. I gotta say, the Pilot Super Sports do very well and the LSD does make the car more predictible if I loose traction out of a turn. Well worth the extra money for my safety.

When I was going to Sac State, I had an '02 530i. Never in my life have I experienced more door dings than during that time. Everyone's in a rush, no one cares about bashing other people's cars....finally gave up and started riding my bike. lol

Installing my OEM blackline tail lights today. I know I'm behind the time on this, but can't wait. It's amazing how a simple tail light can dramatically improve the look of your ride!

Hey Syndicate, I usually drive with DTC on because having more wheel slip allows me to better control the car, and I feel it is a bit more aggressive. How does your LSD improve this?

It doesn't stop wheel spin.....just makes it predictible by applying more power to the non-slipping wheel. No more 1 wheel burnouts or getting squirlley coming out of turn fast. Very expensive mod but well worth it in my book., especially if you are going to be apply power mods to your car.

White e92 with what looked like CSLs making a right onto El Centro going south from Natomas Central around 9:30ish this morning. I was in the Le Mans Blue LCI e90. I think you were looking at me? I was turning right onto El Centro going north from Arena.

I read up on Quaife LSDs and it definitely peaked my interest. I value agility a lot more than basic acceleration, which I think defines Europeans sports cars vs. American muscle cars. And I think our cars, when stock, offer a better than average package for spirited driving, but it's a far cry from perfection (hence, your long list of mods). I wonder if BMW will return to LSD in the next gen of 3-series.

I could see BMW putting a LSD in the IS lineup but not the regular 328 or 335. The M3's use a clutch type differential, it can hold much more abuse than the torsen types, but they are noisier. The LSD has completely changed the handling dynamics of my car, it's much much more stable and predictible. Add in some coilovers and some M3 bits and you have a perfect handling daily driver. I just got coils.....will be getting M3 bits soon (probably not a full conversion).

You guys who got your suspension done at Radial Tire.....how did they do? I've been there for tires and they did an amazing job, just wondering about the suspension. I will probably go there this weekend to get my coilovers on.

Swift coilover conversion, it uses my Koni Yellows as the shocks. Supposidly it's better than KW's since the springs are linear and I can adujust the shocks as well as height.

That being said, I have HR Sport springs going up for sale soon. I'll cut any Sac member a nice discount

yea on my setting, i used to have 40/50 and my rear was too soft. shock rebound to soft and coil too stiff. it bounced. now at 75% it improved but i think i can go 80% at least.

and sometimes i feel the car isn't stiff enough, hahahahaha, i guess i just get used to it so well.

one time i was driving my mom's ML to SFO for a day and during the night after came back home, i hopped on my car and the immediate reaction "OH FUCK, THIS SHIT IS STIFF!" hahahahahahaha
