Very interesting PDF of N52 casting process

Hey guys,
I've been digging up a bunch of stuff with all the research for the S/C system, but I wanted to share this with you guys.

I know a lot of questions have come up recently about the materials in the block, the way its made, and the durability of the engine itself.

I think this will shed a lot of light on the subject for everyone

They want a bunch of money for a Chinese product.

So im making a much better setup out of QUALITY parts from real manufacturers.

(i dont mean Chinese in any racist manner, if anyone if offended I apologize in advance)

Have you seen there install guide? Its a total joke and doesnt even show the motor your installing on its only for the 4cyl... all they do is vaguely mention the 3.0L in the install guide.. I have it somewhere, if I can find it ill post it up.

I'm Chinese.
But I'll agree, 7K USD is a lot for a supercharger that has not been independently reviewed or tested.

Exactly.

Ive seen and talked with them a lot, and making a kit ourselves is a much better solution and a safer solution.

I'd rather strap a shit load of bottle rockets to my boot than trust what they are trying to sell.

pretty good information... with your research, perhaps you have this info and i'm too lazy to look

1. What is the CR of this engine? Does it differ between 25,28,30?
2. What is the material the crank is made from? forged (not if i recall)
3. Connecting rod material? shape (structure, ie. I-beam..etc)
4. Head gasket material?
5. Head bolt strength? (can easily be resolved, but important)

LEts see here..

#1 - N52 CR is 10.7:1
#2 - Cast Iron
#3 - I know they are fracture split, aluminum alloy of some kind or a mild steel like the cam shafts.
#4 - Never looked into that LOL
#5 - I cant find any specs on the breaking point of the bolts, I know they are fragile and single use, but they dont list the specs anywhere I can find showing there rated failure point.
