Retrofitting Cruise Control
Hello all. New to the forum. Just about to sell my Z4 and I'm looking at a 320d Touring.
I've found the perfect car....well almost. The only bloody extra it doesn't have is cruise control! Panoramic Roof - check, Business Nav - check, Parking Sensors, Cream Leather, Heated seats, Bluetooth yep, all there. Cruise? Nope. I've found a couple of threads on doing it but nothing actually gives me a clear answer. I've found units around the £400 mark, and I know it makes a difference if it has auto wipers. I think it does but will check before I buy the unit. Are they hard to come by from breakers yards? How much would fitting normally cost? Anyone know anywhere in the West Mids that could do a good job? How hard is it to do myself? Thanks in advance for your help. |
