I have had no complaints from German Auto Werks in Lake in the hills along with RN automotive if your downtown.

A&L in Palatine installed and removed mine for a pretty good price. My car is rwd, but I have no doubt they can handle an xi as well.

You want a flat rate for something like this. However, OP turn down $150 for RWD saying he found a shop to do it for $100, so I expect that he wants this done in the same price range. I still can not believe that someone would do it for $100 unless a friend or back alley shop in Chicago.

Woah now I wanna know where I can a huge break like that. $100 for a lengthy job like that.

Every once in a while I run into a job I cant tackle myself or don't have the time to do myself. OP can you tell us where you got it done?

So is safe to assume that your 335i wasn't enough important to be extra careful during the install

Actually they did work on my buddies e60 m5 he recommended them to me. I personally don't consider a downpipe install a big job. I think any experience mechanic could get it done only thing I was worried about is the location of the downpipes touches the turbo. On my Evo ix I would do my own work on the car. Time is valuable now that I'm 28 comparing my age at 18...
