Any way to use the key fob to open the sunroof/windows, while doors stay locked?
I know other people here had this happen to them, but we concluded they must have sat on their key fob, the dog pressed it or some weird crap like that. Now I ask because I have none of those. No dog, small kids nor did I sit on the fob. During the storm I went to garage to check on something, and found windows all the way down and the sunroof open, but the doors were locked. WTF? At least the car was in the garage or it would have been full of ice and snow Now I am kinda worried if it actually does open itself and this happens while its outside and snowing. Dude that would really suck! Any Idea what happened? I can almost swear it wasn't me, but I can't see how this would happen by itself. Any ideas?

That happened to me three times already!!!
So I tried to do everything I could with the keyfob, and nothing happened, untill I pressed the unlock button three times fast and hold on to it on third time. So I just concluded that unlock button got pressed in my pocket, and pressed lock button again. That's how I figured out, but I'm really worried, too.(it happened to me outside in parking lot. I didn't know about it for few hours) Anyone knows?

This really sucks. I have an E46 with the remote on the key and has never happened
I find sitting on the key far fetched. I always have it in my jacket pocket and when I take off the jacket at home, it stay there unless I want to drive the car that day. How did this happen? I couldn't tell you. I certainly did not press or sit on no keys. Thats my story and I am sticking to it.

Happened to me on my first night of owenership. I came out the next morning ready to take my baby to work and all the windows were down, sunroof open, and doors locked......
It hasn't happened since so I attributed it to being a newb and messing around with the buttons

It's already here and confirmed on the e92, datalogging is being performed tomorrow to verify full compatibility with the e90 and clean up any code.
We'll be reporting results soon.

Testing went very well on our e90 over the weekend - we are scheduled to test both the e90 & e92 this coming Saturday to clean up coding and will have an announcement shortly after the holiday.

The Winner!! If you press the unlock button and hold it down, the front windows, rear windows and sunroof will open (in that order). However, if you don't open the door for the preset time (RTFM), then the doors will lock again. That's how people come back to their car to find the windows open and doors locked. Now, let's step it up a notch... If this instance, will the alarm's sonic/ultrasonic/superpower sensor pickup when someone reaches their hand into the car to nick your cd's or iPod? Oh yeah, tom @ eas, we're WAITING...

Windows rolling down with the key is standard in all BMWs, however how would you feel if you were able to roll up the windows with the touch of your remote?
