How often do I need to pump up run flat tyres?

Hi,

So I bought a 335i about 6 months ago and drive about 3.5k miles.

I have had the warning light come up to pump up the tyres twice. Once about at 2.5k miles and once just recently.

Is this normal? I have the 18" RFTs

I have never had a car with RFTs or with a pressure warning system. So I wonder if this is normal for a car but I have never checked.

I am also having a problem with the car pulling to the left (passenger side) which I am taking it to the dealer for tomorrow. This problem persisted after pumping up the tyres to normal pressure on both occasions. I wonder if this is related.

Anyway thanks for the help.

There is no difference in air retention on run flat versus non run flat tires.

The age old recommendation is to check the air pressure of all the tires at each gas fill up. With the amount of miles you drive I would check once every month at a minimum. You should also check anytime there is a drastic shift in outside temperature. That is probably why your sensor light came on your dash thlose two times.
