Angry Things that really grind your gears

Please share. What originally happened that made me think of this, is how I try to keep a good distance from the car(s)/truck(s) ahead when traveling on the highway, to hopefully lessen the amount of rock chips that may happen. But then the idiot riding your ass decides to go around, gets back right in front of you, but can't go no further because the other car is ahead going nearly the same speed.

Another one; you park a football field away from whatever store you may go to, trying to avoid door dings and what not. Then when you return, there's that one person that decided to park next to you with ten more spaces they could have chosen, closer to the door and away, from you.

You know what really grinds my gears? No one's come up with a new priest and a rabbi joke in like 30 years.

The fact that I can't control my music through my iDrive without a $300+ adapter.

Shifting into first without the clutch, it's really bad new bears.

In all seriousness, I hate people who drive in the left lane when not passing, people who tailgate, people who don't signal properly, and people who drive too quickly for the conditions of the road (note I did not say people who exceed the speed limit).

Happens to me all the time. So irritating.

Here's another: people who are first in line at a left turn signal, but insist on reading their texts instead of watching the light. When it turns green, they don't move for 10 seconds... the result being they get through the light, but nobody behind them does.

It really annoys me when someone is riding my ass on the freeway and then goes around me, gets in front of me and goes slower than I originally was. So then I have to pass them again, then they pass me and it turns into this cycle of hate and confusion for several miles.

Another one..When I am trying to merge onto the freeway and the only other vehicle within a half a mile is in the lane I need to get into. Of course they won't move over or speed up/slow down. Then when I finally get around them, they are on their damn cell phone.

I could do this all day.

Tractor trailers in the left lane WTF

Tractor trailer that has to go .05 mph faster than the tractor trailer in front of him so they create a fucking roadbloack!

School busses that flash yellow lights 2 miles before the stop

People that think they have to stop for a school busses yellow light

I don't like people who stop 6 car lengths behind the car in front of them, these people also brake abruptly for no reason at all.

People that drive slow in the left lane.

Anyone that drives a gold colored car because 99% chance that the driver is a 95 year old moron.

I'm guilty of this, but it's not something I do on the regular. As a matter of fact, I did it this morning for a little bit. In my defense, I was at least going the speed limit..

In NJ left lane hogs now get fined. The law clearly states that a vehicle has to stay right except when overtaking another vehicle or preparing for a left turn. fine is $100 to $300.

I'm driving my 6 1/2 y.o. 335i coupe, and some grandma is tailgating me in a RAV4. She moves out and passes me on a double-yellow, friggin' AARP for 18 years runnin' bi***. So I decide that at an intersection I'm gonna beat her old a** and I take the left turn only lane, but plan on going straight. The opposing traffic gets a green arrow, so now the race is on. When my light turns green I smoked my tires, and the person next to me must have gotten scared. So grandma was stuck behind the scared driver and got so mad she leaned on her horn and scared the driver some more (why are Japanese car horns so wimpy that you can barely hear them?). Finally she caught back up to me and passed me again on the double yellow!

You are 60+ y.o., but to tell you the truth, your behavior does grind my gears. And I know it's wrong to be hatin' on old women who might be having' hot flashes, but wth is up with that s***? One fully expects 17 y.o. males to be reckless, not 68 y.o. grandmas.

My wife says the reason I got the 335i instead of the 328i was because her V6 RAV has 268 horsepower and I was afraid she could outrun me......

Oh and let us not forget the retards that leaves a 10-car gap in front of them in the passing lane and have no clue that you want them to move the fuck over even with the courtesy high beam flash and the soft honk. After you pass them (I usually cut them off hard without blinkers), they finally decide to move over to the next lane. Why must I endure these cretins everyday...

People who don't observe the halfway-out rule in the lot. I believe this applies to most, if not all states. If you're backing out and you're less than halfway out of your stall, you let the cars go by first, if you're already more than halfway out, complete your move.

Instead, all you get is people who pull out of their stalls without even looking back, just hit the gas, and sometimes miss hitting you by inches, or, when you're backing out, and you're more than halfway, some asshole cuts you off and speeds through the alley.

Judging by the behavior of modern society, I believe we have made full circle in evolution. We've gone back to being Neandertals again.

exactly this.

i freaking hate coming out tail first from the parking lot. no matter what 70% of the people will not stop for you... they honk and drive around you making you look stupid and then everyone else behind them just drives around you and youre stuck looking retarded... any chance i get i try to park rear in first in order to avoid this nonsense. and its safer.
