JB4 cruise control issue?

I discovered something after installing the jb4 on my e92. It seems that when I'm in cruise and depress the clutch to turn cruise off, the rpms drop to idle at first, but then jump up to 2-3k for a second or two before falling off again. After I did this a few times I got a cruise control malfunction CEL. Has anyone else noticed this problem after a jb4 install?

No known problems I am aware of.

uh, the car does that in stock form too. It's rev matching in anticipation of you shifting gears. Disable the JB4 and you'll see that it still does it.

Better question is why would you install jb4 and drive on cruise. I almost forgot how to use cruise ever since jb3.
