N55 Gains with Meth

I'm very close to purchasing a meth kit for my N55 but I'm just wondering if I will REALLY see big gains. I have been running E85 but after hearing some horror stories of the E85 messing with people injectors I'm no longer putting it in. Is meth that much better power wise compared to e85? Also does putting meth into the car pose any threats? I will be installing a trunk kit so there will be no meth in the engine bay which will take away a few concerns.

Thanks for the help,
Jake

There are gains with meth on the N55, typically 35WHP for N55. I recommend downpipes prior though which the OP seems to have already. Meth is a great power adder because it cools the intake charge as well as increases octane. This process cools the combustion, offering lowering EGT's. All of these pro's make the engine happy overall to make the power. You made a good choice in wanting store the methanol in the trunk. Let me know if you need any other help.

Meth is definitely a great add. I've had it since before BMS released it. I don't always use it because some times I get lazy filling it up, but damn, it really helps. It's very smooth so you might not notice it really until you start doing some pulls against cars to compare. For example, I was side by side with a C63 P31 package from 20-110 on meth. Not to mention how much cooler your car runs.

Garage List
I have dynos (MANY) that price at least 35 rwhp with meth. It's a major upgrade and running meth has many benefits especially with carbon build up with catless DP. What r u waiting for????

Just make sure u get the TRUNK tank, don't mess with the WW tank. The BMS kit is fine, just get the trunk tank. Got it?

Are you still using e85? Did you experience any problems with it?

Did you use 91 octane and e85 or 93 octane and e85? Also what was your ratio?

I use 93. I usually put 3 to 4 gallons of e85 and the rest 93 gas.

I hear the WW kit can be dangerous and mess with the engine since its around the engine bay that's why I'm going with trunk. Is that true?

You can also avoid car fires by not using the WW meth kits too.
