From what i've read the box is huge and the exhaust is heavy. I'm not sure 300 is going to cover shipping. You should get a quote from one of the vendors, i'm pretty sure they can help you out.

I loved my PE on my e92. One of the best single "mod" that I did on the car. I don't particular like really loud and obnoxious exhausts; but I did want a little racier sound than the stock exhaust. The BMW PE fits this criteria. Love the raspy sound as well as the "burble" noise. I am not saying that it's better than other aftermarket exhausts, but for me, it was a relatively easy decision. No issue with warranty either. The ONLY complaint I had with the PE was the size of the tips. Slightly larger tips to fill the diffuser wells better would've been nice. But, they can easily be replaced.

Congrats on your new exhaust! I've had mine for about 6 months and I absolutely love it!! IMHO the best mod for N54 335i. Btw, what is the difference between the European and the U.S. version? My PE came in with the same packaging as yours...

the difference is this
The exhaust sounds pretty awesome but i did wish it had a little lower growl =P. The valve doesn't help too much in lowering the noise at startup, i'd say that it helps it quiet down the initial cold start idle sound. The sound is definately not obnoxious! You also get some turned heads from the exhaust notes haha, its definately smooth. Last edited by scflaw; 10-09-2012 at 08:18 AM.. |

Nice posts, the comparison with BNR34's exo caught my attention. How does this compared to the Akrapovic Evolution exo? I heard my friends Evo which is pretty soft when idling. I have the akra downpipe coming on the way as well.

Kinda off topic question but what have you guys heard about stock exhaust with catless DPs?

Just saw this post... this response might be late but oh well. I don't think it sounds bad at all either. I have VRSF Catless DPs and BMW performance exhaust. Here is a short clip I just filmed with a startup and a few revs. I was going to post the clip elsewhere but figured this was a good spot for it.
