probably before the gun scare. You can usually find it from private sellers for $550-$600 per a thousand of 55grain federal

If you don't care about brass, you can easily find wolf ammo for $400 per thousand

With this ammo scare, some people are paying top dollar because shelves are empty in stores. Believe it or not, I've sold 2 of these bundles on Gunbroker.com

Local gun shop in Ft Myers Fl, it is PMC ammo. And nope about a week ago. But to each their own!

Yeah, I need brass case. $550 seems to be a good price these days... Ug, last time I grabbed 4k rounds for $300 a box. Oh, the gold old days... Today, I would pay $550 all day for some quality 5.56
