BMW Performance Carbon Fibre - NOW FITTED WITH PICS

Hi guys, I have just taken the plunge and ordered the BMW Performance Carbon fibre dash kit for M3 coupe. It includes the f/r door trims. Whilst ordering got tempted with the Alpine Hi-Fi upgrade….. so got that too. I should get all the bits by Wednesday. The wife’s going to go ballistic when she sees the credit card bill.

If anyone interested in the standard titanium look dash kit please let me know.

Has anyone has any experience replacing these items and is there anything to look out for?

I’ll post some pics when I get the bits in.

Thanks

Can i just ask - this BMW CF trim - is this exactly the same as those of us with the CF/Leather trim option?? Or is it completely different?? Just wondering - i personally LOVE the CF/Leather trim in my M3 and wouldnt change it for anything - but would be interested to see if the BMW "performance" trim is much if any different. Good luck with the install - personally i would pay a professional to fit it all if it were me - but thats only because im useless and have no patience and i would be gutted if i scratched/damaged the CF with my clumsy sausage fingers!!! Post pics asap!!

But with extended bamboo interior, it's the obvious choice... cf trim with bamboo would look horrendous! (imo)

Looking forward to seeing the pics. I love carbon and am addicted to ordering more and more for my car(Caterham race car) just finished fitting new rear light blocks tonight

Don't think it would look as good on my 520d M Sport with beige Leather though !

Sorry all for not replying earlier.

The BMW Performance CF is real carbon fibre and not like the leather CF look. They are very good quality too. It matches the CF roof really well.

I am away until next Wednesday – got the car booked in for the Alpine upgrade and CF install on 24/06. I really don’t want to take a chance myself.

I could not take any pics of the delivered item as my missus doesn’t know I have made the purchase

I will definitely post the pics once installed.

It’s not that I'm worried about. It's once the CC statement comes through the post....I'll have to disappear for a few days.

I have tried to sew the seed of going paperless but is not working...I'm sure it be worth all the flaming.
