Any Fraternity members?
Since fall session is starting up for schools, I've been hearing about a few members going to fraternity parties. This got me curious if anyone is part of a fraternity? You don't need to post which organization you're from, if you're not comfortable, just curious how many greeks are on the board.
I'm an SAE Cal AB |

I went to Rugters U in New Brunswick, NJ at the time I did hang out at a few different frats but never joined. Just not my thing. I was also a bit older than the than them. Also the whole pledge thing also wouldn't sit well with me. Being a USMC combat vet and having to take a bunch of BS from some pimple faced, 20 year old, college frat boy would have made me choke somebody. Although I really did enjoy the parties

As far as joining goes, yeah you will have a freaking blast. I mean it's worth it for the poonage alone; well it's only worth it for the poon because I have yet to find a frat who didn't get beer that tastes like piss water. Just make sure you can maintain your grades when you join. Partying is fun but not worth it if it gets you booted out of school.

If my memory serves me correct Delta Sigma Pi is a finance or business fraternity. It can still be cool and very good for networking but a MUCH different experience than a Greek fraternity. Im sure you know that though. |

Yup lol actually today is the Meet the chapter event but I didn't go since my cousin who was in a professional frat told me it's very hard to be in a frat like that + maintain your grades + include your social life outside of the frat. I'm double majoring and overloading myself with course units and it's a new school so I haven't adjusted yet. If i still want to, I'll prob rush for the spring sem. Yea I'm really more interested in the networking frats since it's really easy to make friends outside of frats.

i know a few of your bros. One of them even has an e92 but isn't on the forums. I've brought him out to a one of the loved Stars meet. I know several bros at SC. They had their BBQ tonight actually. |
