Mods, Mods, Mods
Alright well I have an e90 2006 325i. Automatic, unfortunately. (Couldn't find a manual one so had to stick with auto.)
And I am searching for everywhere for performance mods, and can not find anything. Can y'all please help me out? Anything. Suspension, Exhaust, Chips, Software, ANYTHING. Links are very much appreciated, THANKS. (Also, wanting to get into autocross, what kind of tires should I use for that?) |

He asked for mods, not just performace mods, and it ll be always slow in comparation with ur 335, but ur car isnt only in this world. He can kick ass other cars as other car kick ur ass.

BMW Performance exhaust. It'll provide little true performance gain but I'm buying it for the sound.
http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...ustSystem.aspx It's also outrageously overpriced |

I am sure your car has at least exhaust and intake mods. However I am not too sure I would consider those "performance" mods... Since I don't imagine they yield very many ponies per dollar spent (if any).
If you ask me, you have a nice car (slow true, however e90's look quite good) with that said, IF I were in your shoes I would spend the cash on visual mods... maybe a nice drop (to get rid of the 4x4 look), window tint, angel eyes, shawline trim, etc... I wouldn't spend it on miniscule HP gains... but to each their own, it is your money after all.

Im mad bro, b/c when some 325/328/330 owner, ask for performace or whatever thing, always a 335i owner brings out his superiority. Every 1 know the scale of the 3 series. 325<328<330<335<m3

Its not a superiority, its the simple fact that there aren't any real performance mods that will give him a worthwhile gain.
He should buy wheels and drop it. |

When I had an E90 325i 6spd I got owned by a stock 2006 Civic SI and 2009 V6 Camry. After that, I realized there is no hope for performance gains on this car. At least it looked damn good and felt great on the backroads (had sport package). So imo, focus on cosmetic and handling modifications. Dont mess with any tunes, intakes, or exhausts unless you want to pay money for sound.

The best mod you can do is improve the driver. On a closed course a good driver can significantly close the gap created by a power advantage. If you start getting good in your class and you want 'race rubber' you'll probably end up with a second set of wheels and some hoosiers or something like that. |

What kind of weight savings have people been able to pull off in 325s? If you have stock wheels, that'd be a great place to begin. It's all about Power/Weight. If you can't increase power, drop weight.
