OP...as a Caucasian guy living in Asia, I understand a little where your Korean friend is coming from in terms of not filing a police report.

BUT...really, he needs to do this. They have a stencil and this was not the first or the last time this happened. Filing the report will help the police put the screws to the racist moron who is doing this. It's a completely shocking crime that ought not to go unreported. Please do the right thing for every one else too, and everyone else's cars too...REPORT IT!

I told this story before, some lady at the post office after hitting my door with hers, tells me to go back to my country and get an education. I didn't feel bad at all because I can trace my ancestry back to the Mayflower! The person who said it was a minority. So my point is anybody who tells someone else to "go back" is just plain ignorant.

I bet the OP's Korean friend is smart (stereotype? Well, I used to have a lot of Korean friends and they were all smart and achievers) and whomever painted it is probably jealous.

This country is open for everyone, so I would say keep it diverse.
