Window sticker is cool in some instances. I saw a 63 Chevy SS with the original sticker in the window. Person paid almost $3K for that car new!!!! Then there's the sticker for the Pontiac racer I do some computer work for. Gets something like 3 MPG in the pits, 12 gallons per 1/4 mile

Every time I wash my car I wish I was debadged, since it would make life a lot easier during washing, drying and waxing. But I have to admit to a certain amount of vanity about the 330i badge.
I know that the "cognoscenti" will know it's a 330i by the wheels and grill, (there's a word for Bella), but I want the dummies to know too! |

I took the badge off my car because it looks better, in my opinion. Now, I am so tempted to put this on my clean 325i to piss people like this guy off. Some folks here need to lighten up!

Hahaaha.. Its all good. I'm big on humor. If you cant take it, dont dish it. And scottz- naming your car after me, is a huge compliment.........except... when you said you wanted a slutty/whore name lol. But your car is beautiful- and Bella means beautiful in italian.. so i guess it'll fit.
As for my rear end, well.. you know, just like my baby... we gotta look good together.

I'm thinking about taking the BMW emblem off my 325i and replacing it with a Ford emblem. Any thoughts?

Way back in the 80s in San Diego I used to see a lot of "M 325i" s driving around. Now that is just lame... (As I hope most of you know BMW M Technic never made such a car).
I have no problem with debadging. I think it does make the car look cleaner, and if you don't agree, then think about how a lot of show cars have the door handles shaved. It does look cleaner without a bunch of stuff stuck to the car. It makes it easier to clean too. I have not debadged, but I agree with the merits of doing it. Debadging is a lot different than RE-BADGING. When you see someone that stuck an M Technic badge on their car, that is just sad. I think that we can all agree that rebadging is a lot worse than debadging could ever be. By the way, Petercat was not alone in Debadging his 911. Many people do this, and it is even an ordering option from Porsche to delete the "Carrera" and other badges on the rear of the car. Unfortunately, there is a lot of finger pointing and lots of assumptions about people going on in this thread. If you want to keep your badges on, fine. If you want to debadge, fine. It's OK to have an opinion either way, and to express your opinion, but let's not attack anybody personally, and assume they are trying to be posers, or that they didn't earn their car, etc. |

Ha thats funny you mention the 325i M cars here in San Diego. I can accuratly recall seeing these all over the place. I have 1 in my mind too, i was driving on the 5 north coming from downtown, and i saw a dark purple one sporting the M logo but it was a 325i. Ha kinda funny now that i think about it. Back then i probably thought it was the coolest shit in the world..
