Question How to remove E90 driver's seat back?

Anyone know how to remove the back from the driver's seat (sport) in an E90 to get into its guts?

theres 2 black plastic rivets on the bottom of the seat back. they will most likely need to be replaced. once you get those off everything is exposed.

Thanks. Ok, I see them. Do I pry them out like with a thin prybar or flat blade screwdriver? Or do I need to cut the heads off? When they've been removed do you know which way to pull on the seat cover to get it off? For example, straight back or downwards or?

its easier to cut the heads off than trying to pry it out cause you might mark up the actual seat back in the process... just pull the seat back down and out after u get the clips off

Thanks, I did that yesterday. Had to cut the tops off the clips, get the seat back off and then pull out the remains of the clips. Once inside I used a folded-up towel to add lumbar support.
