Need help with a steering noise

06 330xi

So every time i turn my wheel doesn't matter if its left or right but it makes this loud noise and I am not exactly sure what it is. Any thoughts? I've just done a power steering fluid change.

You're gonna have to be more descriptive...

Does this happen when you're driving, certain speeds?

What does the noise sound like?

Any changes in steering feel?

Did it only start after the fluid change?

Have you checked your power steering fluid level again?
Could be a leak and the reservoir is low.

How was the condition of the fluid? Maybe the strainer in the reservoir is restricted. Or the pump going bad? Or the belt loose. Many possibilities. Where is the noise coming from?

How many miles on your car?

Having recently replaced my P/S reservoir due to a noisy pump with the hope that it would quiet the pump down, I can tell you that it made little difference for me. My pump is obviously on its way out, but it is also somewhat noisy just at idle, too...
