How can I tell if my 2008 BMW 335i is an E90 or an E92?

Count the number of doors. Do not include trunk and hood as "doors".

Four doors you have an E90.
Two doors you have an E92.

Note that if you only have 2 doors, and your roof retracts into your trunk, you have an E93.

E92's have a v8 with a twin turbo and supercharger, the E90 has a v8 with a twin supercharger!

I am new to the BIMMER world. 1.5 months into my BIMMER. I always thought I had a V6. Or an Inline 6 as my salesman put it to me.

I doubt the 328i has a V10. Or an inline 10.

And yes, I test drove the 328i and 335i the same day. No comparison.

Ahh, thanks. Yes, I remember the salesman telling me that the 335i has an inline 6. Disregard my previous post about the V8.

Haha, yeah 328 doesn't come close to 335.

It's ok, i'm hoping this e90 will be my gfs in the foreseeable future.
