Was hitting about 7.2 psi stock now at 6psi

So completely stock 335xi was hitting about 7.2 psi peak at 8psi after I change my charge pipes vrsf (I think) And also about 30 degrees in philly I'm hitting 6.2 psi mind you the car haven't been completely warm. Data logs

If it was a boost leak logs wouldn't show boost being consistent right ..

What's your boost target? Also wondering why would change your charge pipe on a completely stock car.

I thought they said the stock charge pipe usually heats up and go boom lol at the throttle body. I could be wrong I'm complete noob, read it and said well shit I should change it

Btw boost target is at 5psi it used to be at 7psi .. maybe it lowered because it's cold and car not completely warmed up

I've never really heard them crack under stock pressure. I suppose if you are in a hot/cold extreme climate anything is possible with plastic. If you're boost is hitting target then it's most likely not a leak. Someone else will have to chime in why you're boost target is lower than stock target. Also, shouldn't go WOT until your oil is warmed up past 160*.

A stock DME will target different levels of boost based on your AIT. Look at the boost target and AIT at your first log. It's targeting ~6 psi because your AIT is only 55 deg. In your second log, your AIT is around 80 degrees, so the DME targeted a higher boost, it does this to make your car feel just as powerful no matter the weather. It has nothing to do with oil temps, and this is completely normal.

Other than that, it doesn't seem like you have a boost leak. You may want to check/replace your boost solenoids because your boost control is really odd.

Good luck!

Mine blew last summer on the 11 E92 335 (N55); car is bone stock. CP is plastic and will eventually blow near one of the connectors, even if your car is stock.

I had my chargepipe blow off and shatter the end that connects to the throttle body. Completely stock.
