"...the 2007 Lexus LS460 is the first LS sedan ever that allows its stability-control system to completely turned off. Once the big lady lets her guard down, the 4.6-liter V8 producing 380 hp and 367 ft-lbs. is totally and utterly at the mercy of your right foot, which makes burn outs and drifting possible for the first time in a Lexus LS sedan." |

I have driven the LS 430 (my dad's) and its nice. I would like to see how well the new version drives... I did not push my dad's car, but its always more fun in SEC...
Im surprised there is no IS/330 comparo at this driving event. I have never driven the new IS... I ruled it out when looking at cars because I think its hideous... I dont buy cars for looks, but there are parts of the design that really bug me... |

AJ,
The new LS would be a marked departure from the outgoing LS. I do love the current model, its so serene, like a big cloudmobile, that's my best take on it. They had the IS/330 comparo the last time, drove both quite hard, it was actually my first drive in an e90 and needless to say I was quite sold at the end of the day. Thank you Lexus

I would just love to drive someone else's 330i around a track... I wouldnt mind trying out the IS350, but there is no way I will trade my E90 for it... My dad's LS is a great highway driver. We do a lot of traveling as a family, so its a great car for those long road trips. Loads of space, plenty of cushioning on the interior, and loads of options. I tried to get him to look at the 750, but theres a huge price difference etween the LS and 750 similarly equipped... |

Just a friendly reminder...
Taste of Lexus this Sunday at 09:00 By now, you should've received both the confirmation mailer cards and the confirmation number/reminder by email. Don't forget to have those handy. Looking forward to our mini-meet this weekend . Also looking forward to some quality Lexus thrashing time

As of today, I still plan on going. Are we meeting anywhere for breakfast?
BTW, I got the confirmation e-mails yesterday (I got THREE of them, since it looks like they didn't cancel my original Saturday slot I signed up for ) but have not gotten any card in the snail mail. Did I miss it?

Brian: no worries if you haven't received the mailer card. As long as you have the confirmation, you're fine Hmmm breakfast is a good idea, normally, but I am just thinking of all the free food we'll get at the event. Not sure if its necessary. On the other hand, lunch might be a better idea. I think some folks wanted a post-event meet/get-together of sorts.
Frank: Awesome news...!!! I am thinking 1 or 2 of us will have to go ahead of the others to "reserve" parking space so we can all park together, "meet" style
