Feeler:Summer/Fall Fest at BMW of Bel Air

Guys,

The last meeting in January at Looney's Pub North in Bel Air was a success. I would like to measure a level of interest for another meeting in Harford County. Before SPYDEPUTY approaches the management at BMW of Bel Air for committment to host a party for us, Can I get all interested individuals to chime in ?

This is not a BMWCCA sponsored event. It's a meet and greet for all BMW owners.

Did I mention it is FREE to attend ?

Date: Saturday, 11 Sept. 2010 Noon (This is a tentative date: I need to see enough interest from members to finalize the date, so please let me know if you are interested in attending).

No Fee, this is not a chapter sponsored event. This is an informal meet and greet for all BMW owners willing to come out to the dealership to check out the new models and hang out with other BMW owners.

BMW Bel Air is going to have the event catered if it becomes a go. Hope to have the word f/ them by Friday.
Maybe Mark will bring a Porsche f/ Towson Too!

Kind of off topic, but if there are kids at this event, maybe my managing partners will be willing to co-host this event and set up child-id kits... Let me know if funds become an issue for this event, it would be great to get my company (New York Life) involved in something like this if possible.

if it's a go, just give them (BMW) a call and see what you can work out. after all it will be their event. just talk to Joe, he is calling Mark right now. i'll call back later this afternoon.

Just spoke w/ Joe, he is waiting the call back f/ Mark. So I'll give him a call around lunch time tomorrow. He feels that Mark will be on board w/ this and do it right. A chance to meet and greet other BMW owners in the area and see the new E92 and E93 as well as the new 5.

Got a call f/ the new GM for BMW Bel Air, Mike Coleman. He is all for a dealer sponsored event,

but wants to move it back a week or 2.
I checked the event calendar and National Capital Chapter of BMW CCA is having Chapterfest on Saturday 09/18/10. So by default it looks to be Saturday 09/25/10 Noon, at BMW Bel Air. All I'm waiting for is to hear back f/ Mike Coleman. Then I'll close this post, open a new one and post a new event. So keep watching.
