I thought you bought yours cause you've done so much mods to yours already. Are you planning to buy it at the end of the lease term?

I dont think so....its my daily drive car and with all the salt on the road thru out the whole winter, I don't think I will keep any car. Also, I can have execuse to change car every 3 years I will part out all the things I done before the lease end.

The 25 yr amortization period most of us once used for residential financing is quickly being replaced by 35 & 40 yr amortizations (especially popular with the younger crowd)

I read the National Post on Wed, they had a half page ad about the deals on cashback and lease.
The cashback is for April only and the car has to be picked up in April. |

Do they look thru all of Canada for inventory, or just in the province or city that you are in to locate inventory that particular dealer doesn't have? |

BMW Canada sold 23% fewer vehicles in the 1st Qtr of 2008 (vs same period in '07). I'd say they're motivated to keep the cash back rebates coming, until sales pick up OR the Canadian dollar falls to below $0.90 US.

it'll be interesting to see how sales respond to their Spring Sales Drive this month .... i suspect that it should at least stop the decline; more likely, it will cause sales to shoot up if what happen in nov/dec last year is any indication...

My SA told me today (verbally) that as long as you order now (although he didn't quite say until when if you order) and get it delivered before September, you'd qualify. I'd heard from a lot of people that it depends on your delivery date, and that if (for argument purposes) June 30 was the deadline, but you got your car delivered July 3, you were out of luck. At first he said the same thing to me, and i said if that was the case, I wouldn't be interested in buying a car since I have no control over the delivery date, but I believe he checked with some higher ups and they said they'd honour it (or possibly the guideline really is that if you order by a certain date, you'd lock in the rebate).

Not sure, last fall when they had $1500 cash back I did not qualify due to delivery date.
Be good to get it in writing, that may not hold water either though. |

Well, I think BMWCA should take a hard look at AMG C63's pricing to see why a consumer would want to pay more money (over 10K) for the M3. I was at the Town and Country today and I saw a AW M3 with CF roof. Loved it but if I were to spend my money today, I would see a 3-pointed star in my driveway.

Is the quote that you sign not a binding offer that they need to honour when it arrives? Unless they write a disclaimer of some sort for the rebate? |
