Well i do agree pre-meet is somewhat a solution, but one cannot prevent unexpected people from coming on the day of the meet.

For example, if we are to prepare 20 man of food for the meet up, and somehow 30 man show up, would that be fair for all the members that have paid up front?

The only way is to print tickets for the people that have paid already, and this ticket can be use to redeem food on the day of the meet. That will prevent unexpected members that didn't pay to get the food on that day.

We can pay up front, and if more people want to come and didn't get a chance to pay at pre-meet, they must post in this thread before, so whoever getting the food can get more, or their friends sign up for them if they're not on the forum, then pay at the event, but lets say make the ticket $30 instead of $20 to encourage pay at pre-meet.

No admission to anyone that didn't pay up front up or sign up here. I know ppl still might not show up if they signed up after the pre-meet, but that's the best solution I can think of...

Hey guys...sorry for being out of commission for a few days. I'm opening up my own office and planning a grand opening for that as well...so been kinda stretched thin...

Ok...so far this BBQ idea has been good on paper...but there are a lot of issues. I mean, so far, only Eric has said he has a small BBQ that is even available.

Let's face it...a small BBQ is not going to do it for 20+ guys. We need a big one that someone can bring on a truck or something. But so far, it doesn't look like that's going to happen at a E90post meet. Maybe if this was a Ford F-150 meet.

Maybe even if we had 3-4 small ones going...

BBQ should be "BYOP". Meaning..."bring your own protein" (with a little 10% extra for other people to share). You bring the protein (beef, chicken, pork, skewers, seafood, sausage, tofu) and we grill it. Everyone has theirs and or someone else's to taste. Other stuff like pop, condiments, etc isn't that expensive...so we can sort that out last minute. That's really not a issue.

The real issue is...who has a BBQ and can bring it?

Let's bump this up one more time. If we don't have a volunteer with a big BBQ step up...then this may revert to a regular meetup...with potentially food at a restaurant afterwards.

P.S. Happy Father's Day everyone...peeps doing something nice for their dads today?

i can reserve the table .. lol

i imagine it will be freaking cool if we have 20+ e90/2 crusing in richmond and park in same parking... lmfao
