The OEM clutch delay valve restricts fluid to the slave cylinder through a valve (i.e. above pic). This causes a slight delay in clutch engagement making shifting slightly sluggish, especially on 1st and 2nd gear. The modded CDV removes the internal parts of the valve creating a larger less restrictive opening in the valve which allows fluid to flow more efficiently. This results in better clutch engagement making your spirited driving more enjoyable = )
