Help car wont start! 07 335i

When I first went to start my today i noticed that it cranked a little longer then usual before it turned over. Now later when i went to turn it wont start. When i press the start button everything seems to reset and the dash goes blank and come back with no crank. All accessories and lights are fine. I checked what i believe is the ground strap cable and it seems fine but its covered in black tape so i couldnt be 100% sure. Im not sure if this is actually the ground strap cable though, anyone with a specific pic of its location in the engine bay? I have the jb4 installed so I thought maybe its a loose power cable in the ecu but i was able to read a 2DEC code(Power management, battery control) with my laptop does this mean the power cable isnt loose since I can still connect it to my laptop? Maybe starter but wouldnt that give me the starter code when i scanned it? I guess its also possible its the battery i havent tried to jump it yet. Any Input would be appreciated:bow https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=

That to me looks like a weak battery. I've never experienced this on my bmw, but I've had similar experiences on other cars with weak batteries. Lights work, radio works, but the dash goes crazy and the car doesn't crank.

Your video shows telltale signs of a dead battery. If you are still on the factory battery, it's for sure done for by now and you are due for a new one.

You can try to charge it or jump start the car, but that battery is likely on it's last legs.

Yup, sounds like a dead battery.

Make sure when you get a replacement, you get the same version you have (AGM or non AGM) and don't forget to register the new battery.

Battery has enough juice to power on accessories and such but not enough to turn the starter over.

Battery replacement!

Wondering what kind of battery you went with. How did you have to "register" this battery? Total prices?

Cranked and turning over is the same thing......

Started/fired up means it ran...

Cranking/turning over is the crankshaft rotating during starting.
