Odd sounds from radio

I have a 08 335i sport with the connection for the iphone in the center console

I have a question regarding the radio and a beeping sound.

With the radio on and bluetooth activated, every once in awhile I hear 3 very short beeps (each beep lasts just a split second) followed by 1 longer beep (maybe 1 second in duration). I have heard something like this before on an aftermarket alpine head unit in a toyota truck. I don't think it started until I paired my Iphone with the car but I could be wrong. Any help on this? It almost sounds like moris code and the volume of the beeping has no corralation to the volume of the media I'm listening to.

Same here. only started when i started to use an iPhone, last phone did not do it?? Very strange!!

Anyone else?????

i think i have figured it out...! i noticed it doing it on the hour, must be some thing related to the clock. not sure why it started when i synced up my iPhone...!
