That's pretty awesome. I'm about to get an AW 328i and I really hate the ambers.

DIY? There is a DIY for opening the headlights. the rest is for you to figure out!
really though. you need CF, you need to prep it somehow so it doesnt frey when you cut it ( i just used clear coat) then you need to cut the inside part of the Cf to match the innerline of the amber. Glue it on ( i used contact cement), make sure the edges stick. then keep clear coating it till you get a good finish. |

mds82 used fabric CF, so I presume you'd have to use a color fabric, that when clear-coated, would match the color of your car.

I'm going to start working on a set of custom Silver CF ones soon for someone here on the forum. It will take a few weeks, but i'm excited to see how it looks!

Marc, I know you are busy man. But when you have time, how about taking some pic of the light after you seal it back up. As potential customer would like to see your work on the reseal. It is good to hear that there are no leak during the rain but will your work hold well over time? Give us a sneak peak at your reseal job.
Also, how do you address the potential of cracking the shell while opening the light to get to the amber? Those lights are too expensive to have it crack and having to replacing them.
