When is the standard (free) oil change?
Hey guys! thanks a lot for answering my recent post on my engine oil shortage. I have went to the dealer today and they added a quart for me for free! However, I forgot to ask my dealer, when should I get my oil change? My car currently has 8400 miles and my onboard computer says (12000 miles and 03/2007 for an oil change). So does that mean I have to wait for another 10 months to get an oil change? Is it true that if i ask for an oil change before the onboard computer schedule I have to pay it out of my own pocket? even though I have already bought my car from the dealer for exactly a year? Please share your oil change experiences with E90 with me. Thank you so much fellow E90ers.

Free maintenance will not kick in until you're fairly close or alerted to have your maintenance done by your car.
If you want any other service prior to that time, it's going to come out of pocket |
