Beeping on the hour

A bit of a strange one - in my 05/06 330i I get a set of beeps to mark each hour. It is not linked with the clock as it is about 1 minute different. I'm buggered if I can find how to turn the thing off. anybody any ideas?

The hour beep thing can be turned off through the i-drive settings somewhere but i don't have access to my car at the moment (at work) but i can check later tonight if someone else doesn't give you the answer by then. The beep comes on a minute before the hour changes (for example 2.59PM, 3.59PM, etc) from memory.

Nice, another reason why I should've got an iDrive car. Didn't know you can set the hourly reminders with the e90's... the memo feature I missed from my e36, and wish my e46 had.

In either case, I googled it for you. It's in the iDrive Clock settings. The setting is called Hourly Timer (memo)

I had the same problem when I picked up my 330i - as said previously check in your i-Drive settings under the time/clock settings?

I thought they were supposed to ring 2 beeps on the 59th minute. Think its a warning that the time is almost the next hour.

It does the same on mine and Mums X5 too.
