Will there ever be E85 in Western MA????
Would love to upgrade my lpfp and get a custom map with some E85 but there's NO stations except for Charleton plaza on the pike (40 miles away) I'm not stupid or blind and missing any stations close to the Springfield area am I?

Closest place to me is 40m away and I have to pay a toll to get on the pike. Given running E85 uses 30% more fuel means i would burn almost a 1/4 tank there and back. Sucks. I would kill for a station in my town or on my commute to work. We need more on 495 and 93.

You might want to call the station first before you spend all that time on the road.
There has been no E85 anywhere in the Boston area for several months now. |

He literally said "no we have 87. No gas stations have 85 anymore."
And then I said "no not 85 octane, ethanol 85." And his response was "ya 87, it has 10% ethanol" So i just hung up. Just drove by the racing mart in springfield to doublecheck and they don't have it Last edited by K19BMW; 03-29-2015 at 06:44 PM.. |

Last places I know of that are selling E85 still are the Irving in Chelsea, and the Gulf express at Logan. I've given up just driving to the station for fillups, I just bring 2 or 3 5 gallon Jerry cans in my work truck and fill them all up so they last a couple weeks.
