Staggered set up XI
Hello all, easy quesrtion for everyone.
I am running a staggered wheel set up: Front 18x8.5 et 30 with 225/40r18 tires rear 18/9.5 et 35 with 255/35R18 tires both are bridgestone. I am not crazy about the bit of stretch and would prefer a bit more tire under the wheel. What's my next width up while still maintaining the 1% difference for the 4WD 235/40 275/35? Thank you for your help! |

I had to rethink what I said. You're running an 18" wheel. I was talking about a 19" setup. For 19s 235/275 are the same diameter. For 18's you'll be at +.8% difference. or -.4% with 235/265 back tire will be slightly smaller.
My brother is running this setup on his 2012 e92 xdrive: 19x8.5 et 33 235/35 tires & 19x9.5 et35 275/30. Pretty much perfect. He's still on stock suspension. Looks like you're in an e90 so you have even more room in the rear for a wide tire. Last edited by Yotaismygame; 02-08-2021 at 05:35 PM.. |
