Should I grease the sway bar bushings?

Getting ready to install the performance suspension with 14mm rear bar on my 335i. I've read in the forum that many grease the sway bar bushings. Is this necessary to prevent noise and what type grease should I use?

If the bushings are rubber no grease is necessary. If they are poly, you need grease.

Do NOT apply grease to the oem bushings that are rubber, you will help the break down process of rubber if you do that.
