Help for vibration on 2011 E90 xDrive
Happy holidays, question my GF called me her BMW is jerking when she goes over 40 Mph she ... *sigh* has been filling with low octane but she isn't hearing the engine knocking, in fact she doesn't hear any noises i.e. high revving, but she feels as shaking. I think it the service light came on. I think it might be the fuel pump or spark plug any thoughts? she is going to take it in tomorrow but thought I would crowd source to help calm her nerves.

Start with plugs and coils....most probably a coil problem

So we took it to her brothers used car dealership... it was a coil malfunction. Needed 4 coils and 6 spark plugs. Brother got it straightened out and only charged the cost of parts. Now the thing runs as smooth as butter !
