Someone help me understand lol
And to answer your question Cayman S, 996 turbo, 997 CS or E60 M5
I do want to test drive all for sure...

Sold the m3 because I bought that on an impulse to be honest and I would rather have a SC'd e46 m3...

Will be more reliable than Porsche as well, maintenance will be cheaper, it's faster. The only reason I don't own one is insurance was ridiculous on it.

Also, go drive all 3 cars in question so you can make an educated opinion on what you like. Depending on the year 996, there is the RMS issue (yes, even on the turbos), and the gearbox is a weak point for pushing horsepower
+1, the Z06 will take a dump on all of these cars in terms of performance and more than likely be cheaper to maintain and be more reliable. Also, the 996 turbo is no 997 turbo or anything close to it and even though everyone dumps on the Z06 interior; the 996 interior is just as bad.

Now that you mention it, the interior of the 996 is a little dull especially the seats. Soon as I saw the, I know I would most likely get the GT3 seats or the suedes from a 997. Also, I really like the carbon fiber in the porsches interior.

Volkswagen has had hold of that ass for decades, so you'll be fine with reliability with the RS4. The ZO6 is said to be one of the most unlivable daily drivers (especially in urban settings), and the interior build quality is preposterous. Porsche was also owned predominantly by VW until 2008, which now only holds a 20% share in Porsche AG GmbH. The RS4 might not produce quicker track times than the ZO6, but you'll be happier with the driving experience and road feel (and you'll suffer less mechanical sympathy when driving hard). The Porsche offers the most premium cache and build quality, but you'll be more comfortable in the RS4. Parts are easier to come by for the Audi as well, and you'll have more aftermarket upgrade options than you would with the ZO6, and I'd hate to see a beautiful 911 undergo any upgrades (what is there to change; they're so lovely already).

The Porsche I saw, DRIVING AWAY as I was pulling up. I said no no...he's just test driving...no he just drove that shits home.

It took me so long to get through traffic to get to the damn RS4 and BACK to the Porsche that the vette will have to wait until tomorrow.

dude, he's looking at 10 year old Porche's, an almost 6 year old Z06 and an outdated Audi.

p.s.
get the Z06 and live the rest of your life throwing gears and reaching 160mph without even trying.

The m3 has been sold a month ago, m5 has to much space and 10 cyc is to much for me

That 10 year old Porsche is a great bang for buck to me.

I have always liked 996 turbos, but you really have to be careful of maintenance costs outside of warranty. If something goes wrong, you're paying big. 996 interior >> any vette interior, although the 996 interior isn't amazing, but the seats aren't bad. If you don't have to deal with snow/bad weather, I'd probably go Z06. Otherwise, I'd probably go 996.
