This is interesting, I never knew about this. Going through my logs it looks like this happens sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.
I have quite a few logs here

Is this a N55? Logs look perfect (regarding AFR) by taking a sneak peek from my phone

If so:
do you have a OBD cable? (Standard OBD/Bavarian Technic?)
Which ROM Version are you running? 98F0B?

i recommend that you set the wgdc tables, as your act. load is exceeding the requested. Your tps is almost closed over the whole rpm range. If you really have a stage 2 turbo upgrade, you cannot just run with the OTS map top end the dme is blocking the additional boost, which your turbo is providing..

Contact PTF or some other protuner to customize your map, you will be surprised how much more power you will get Right know you’re basically still on almost the same level as a non turbo upgraded car.

Please set first the car so that you are not facing any throttle closure, then you should check for your post shift AFR and timing values.

Beside i really like to have a look to your finished Map

PTF is tuning the car for me. They wanted me to log some of the OTS maps first to see how the turbo was behaving.

Greetings from Frankfurt

Regarding the DCT Shifts. Seems like Dzenno@PTF found a fix. We are currently testing it. In my opinion COBB should buy their OTS Maps from PTF as they know what they are doing (requested/Actual Load / DCT Maps etc)

I got the 2C57 code almost every time going WOT over 200km/h with the OTS maps.

I don't remember the exact time but when the maps were revised , never got the code again. I think that was sometime in October or early December.

Josh at Cobb was always extremely helpful , always got very quick and detailed responses from him.

At the moment I am running PTF map and never got the code with it either.

Just curious, but have you dyno'd your car on the PTF map?

Thanks for the info. Those cons seem fairly disappointing to me. I'm surprised that those issues would be prevalent.

Ok so I'm not the only one throwing the random p2c5x codes. What exactly is the cause of this issue, you guys are saying the post shift?

I just wish it didn't happen so randomly, when I have more time I'm going back to my tuner.

No, but i have pbox and compared to earlier data (stage 2+ aggressive) there is 0.5 second improvement in 100-200 time.
It is minimal but that's mainly because highest octane i can get is 97RON

Great info Manuel,

Please keep us updated on how Dzenno's map work, and if it finally solves the DCT shifts issue... I also have an N55+DCT but after reading your post I am not going to spend a dollar on a Cobb until i am 100% sure that there is a fix for this issue.. and that overall, the Cobb will be a great improvement...

If Dzenno solves it, i will have to buy from him a Cobb and a protune... and also spend some money on one of those pureturbos Stage 1 v2's like you seem to be doing!!!

Keep us updated on it all!

Thanks!

Looks like Dzenno has found a temporary fix. The Logs still don't look that good but he reduced the AFR Problem of the DCTs from 400-500rpm to 100rpm which is hardly noticeable. COBB themself still need to find a fix, though. Regarding 2C57 -> Dzenno@PTF can fix this for you.

In my opinion it's not acceptable for me to buy a $900 tuning tool which is Plug&Play which has such bad OTS Maps. They definitely need to revise them. Sooner than later.

So I shouldn't be too concerned flashing my wife's N55 6MT tonight for the first time?

I wouldn't be too concerned. My logs look good with the 6MT. As long as your DME is supported and you attach a battery charger for the flash you should be fine.

Cool.

If by chance the DME is not supported and it gets to that stage in the flash where it tells me that, how do I stop the flash? Do I just disconnect the AP from the car or do I have to use the AP to "back out" of the install process.

(I didn't have time last night to flash)

My car is a 2011 as well and I had no problems flashing. Btw, I did not use a battery charger. Also to answer your question, the AP will tell you your DME code and you can use that to look up if your DME is compatible. I have the 98f0B DME version.

Before flashing make sure to update your AP to get the latest DME support.
