E92 : 2007 328i Coupe / Robot arm not catching the seatbelt, help?

Upon starting my car, the "robot arms", on driver and passanger side of the car both do the motion of bringing the seatbelt.. but both come up empty handed everytime.

Is there a small adjustment i need to make so the seatbelt catches? Or are they broken? anyone with similar problems?

Judging from your car being a 2007 like mines. Your seat belts has lost their rigidity which isn't stiff enough to be caught by the seat belt butler. You can either spend about $300 and purchase 2 new seat belts or you can do this.

I used superglue on the edges of the belts that touched the seatbelt butler. It works 90% of the time. I'm kinda OCD so I spent the cheese and ordered new seat belts. Problem solved!
